PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin having excellent long-term storage stability, adhesiveness and water-resistance by introducing a preliminarily emulsified mixture of water and a nitrocellulosic resin into a flow channel in a chamber under pressure to effect the impinge emulsification of the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A water-dispersed nitrocellulosic resin is produced by introducing a preliminarily emulsified mixture of water and a nitrocellulosic resin into a flow channel in a chamber under pressure and making the mixture to collide with the plane part 4 in the flow channel under high pressure (preferably 100-10,000kg/cm<2>) or making the flows of the mixture to collide with each other in the flow channel under high pressure to effect the emulsification of the mixture.
