Filter insert moves through the fluid within a vessel between the inlet and outlet. The filter insert and its brush filaments have the same joint cross-section as the vessel cavity in which they rotate and move back and forth. When sepg. a viscous fluid e.g. grinding lubricant or cooling emulsions and solid particles associated with metalworking after the sepg. process has been concluded the brush which is used as a filter is withdrawn from the vessel, rotated and cleaned. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process and assembly simplifies the separation of metalworking process fluids such as grinding lubricant or cooling emulsion from solid particles, greatly reducing the amt. of waste for disposal.
