The cleaner (1) has a rotating brush (5) with drive, which is held on a bearing head (4). The head is located on a movable carrier (2). An adjuster (8) in the shape of an upright four-bar mechanism, is fastened to carrier and head, to move the bearing head up and down. There may be two four-bar linkages (38), at a distance to each other, and the two top bars are formed by a common approx. central bar (41). The brush, the bearing head, or a part of it, are pivoted about a horizontal transverse axis (43), and may be locked in any position. ADVANTAGE - Simple, robust, stable, cheap to manufacture.
