The ultrasonic diagnostic appts. is capable of receiving (5) ultrasonic waves that have been directed at a human body and reflected from the internal organs. Data signals are generated w.r.t. the received ultrasonic waves to create at tomographic image of the area under scrutiny. The appts. includes an evaluation unit (9) to determine minute displacements of tissue displacement w.r.t. the generated data signals, or a difference of tissue displacement w.r.t. a parallel axis to the probe direction. Local max. or differential displacements are calculated for predetermined time periods. A display (15) presents the measured parameters. ADVANTAGE - Results displayed in simple manner, generates real time diagnostic results.
