The built-in inductance (13) of the plug (10) has a toroidal core (13) around which a coil (14) is wound. The ends of the coil at one side are coupled to the connecting pins (21, 22) and to the ends of the cable (30) at the other side. The connections (16,18',17,17') are embedded within the plastics material insulating body during the moulding process. The body has four apertures formed (11,11',112,112') in the regions of the connecting wires. ADVANTAGE - Allows length of plug assembly to be reduced.
