This invention concerns a mechanism for the interchanging of guide posts, operated by means of a remotely controlled vehicle, which consists of guide cones (6) provided in the side of a base beam (2) which supports a socket (4) for a guide post. There are preferably two of said guide cones coaxially aligned and tangential to the guide post socket (4), to create an operating channel inside the socket (4). The guide post (8) is itself provided with a channel (10) around its bottom to house a locking pin (12). The guide post (8) is placed inside its respective socket (4) so that the operating channel inside the socket (4), created by the aligned guide cones (6) exactly matches the channel (10) around the bottom of the socket, so that locking of the guide post (8) takes place by means of turning the locking pin (12), housed in the channel (10) around the guide post (8), by means of a remotely operated vehicle or other suitable tool. <IMAGE> |
