<p>The invention relates to an optical device (32) of the binoculars type, including, between the objective (3) and the eyepiece (1), a miniature screen (4), the image of which can be controlled by a computer, and an optical return device (8) making it possible to superimpose the image of the screen on the image seen by the objective (3). The device furthermore includes, selectively or cumulatively, a variable light attenuator (15) and a light intensifier (50) for night vision.
