The interchangeable container which can be mounted on applicating devices, vehicles, robots and the like serves to hold, mix and homogenise and even intermittently deliver single- or multi-component fluid coating and/or touch-up materials. What is relevant with regard to the container is that as its main components it has an outer container for the coating and/or touch-up material and also, adapted to be inserted into and removed therefrom, a mixer insert whereby in the case of the mixer insert which has been inserted into the container, the two front faces of the interchangeable container are so constructed that they can be brought into contact with fixing mating surfaces. Both a plurality of partial containers and also active or passive mixer inserts may be employed; the latter may also comprise a delivery assembly. (Fig. 1)
