PF/5-18834/A/GBF Microbicides A compounds of formula I (I) wherein R1 is a) a hydrocarbon radical which contains not more than 15 carbons and which may be saturated, unsaturated, substituted and/or interrupted by hetero atoms O, S and N, such that the formation of (thio)acetals or aminals is possible; b) hydrogen, if R2 is not hydrogen; c) an acyl radical -COR3 which is an unsubstituted or a substituted hydrocarbon radical (including the radical of an amino acid) and wherein R2 is hydrogen, a silyl group or an acyl radical, have microbicidal properties against phytopathogenic fungi. They can be used as formulated pesticides for protecting plants against infestation by pathogens.
