PURPOSE:To attain the high speed of the preparation and modification of a character. CONSTITUTION:A dot approximating means 1 outputs the displacing amounts(dx, dy) 22 of the (x) and (y) directions of the previous plotted dots and the present dots to be plotted, by (x) and (y) coordinates 21 of the start and end points of a vector inputted from an outside. An interposed dot detecting means 2 inputs the displacing amounts 22 of the (x) and (y) directions, and outputs interposed dots 23 obtained by removing specific points from entire outline data to a first memory 4. A specific point detecting means 3 detects the specific points inconvenient to a painting out from the displacing amounts 22 of the (x) and (y) directions, and outputs specific point data 24 to a second memory 5. A between dot interpolating means 6 operates the painting out processing based on data 25 for the painting-out from the first memory 4, and a painting- out mode 29 from an outside. A logical overlapping means 7 inputs the data 25 for the painting-out, first data 27 for an overlap, and second data 26 for overlap, operates the character preparation and modification by a logical arithmetic operation, and outputs character data 28. |
