PURPOSE:To allow the processing unit to be convenient for extracting a block of a document whose priority is not easily taken. CONSTITUTION:A document data generating section 12 generates document data of a mixed mode document. On the other hand, a block information generating section 14 generates block information to the document data. An extract command section 13 adds the extracted flag to the said block information. A block generating section 15 integrates the said block information and the document data and files them and stores the result to a mixed document storage section 16. A selection condition command section 17 gives a command of selecting the block adding the extraction flag. Then a block selection section 18 extracts only a block in which the extraction flag is set and displays it onto a display section 19. For example, when the extraction flag is set to a summary block, only the summary block is selected and displayed. |
