PURPOSE:To facilitate comparison between translations by a user by displaying only the translations of different character strings in a list at the time of displaying collectively the translations of different interpretations. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1 inputs an original text, and an input storage part 2 stores the inputted original text, and a translation executing part 3 executes the translation for the inputted original text. Besides, a translation storage part 4 stores the translation the translation executing part 3 outputs, and a translation comparing part 5 compares the output result of the translation executing part 3 with the character string in the translation storage part 4 at the time when the translation executing part 3 translates the inputted original text and outputs the new translation, and a translation display part 6 displays all the translations in the translation storage part 4. Then, a translation control part 7 operates the translation executing part 3, and receives information purporting whether the character string in the translation storage part 4 and the character string of the output result of the translation executing part 3 are same or different as/from each other from the translation comparing part 5, and executes control to either store the translation in the translation storage part 4 or not, and operates the translation display part 6, and executes the control of processing to display the translations stored in the translation storage part 4 as a list. |
