PURPOSE:To prevent a faulty image from being caused by the fluctuation of the thickness of a toner layer sticking to the developing roller of a developing device in a laser printer. CONSTITUTION:A toner damming member 42 is provided on the lower surface of the tip 38a of a thin layer blade 38, and the tip 38a of the blade 38 is pressed against a developing roller 36 from the lower part of the roller 36. The toner to the roller 36 is made to be a thin layer and excess toner is scraped by the tip 38a of the blade 38. Then, the toner sticking is dammed and allowed to fall by the member 42, thereby preventing the toner from getting into the lower side of the blade 38. |
