PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a battery excellent in discharge characteristic at the time of a heavy load having high current collecting ability by inserting a second positive electrode collector electrically connected to a needle positive electrode collector and having a plurality of blade parts to a positive electrode body in parallel to the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 1 is pressed onto a cylindrical battery vessel 1, and a positive electrode body 4 having a second positive electrode collector 12 having a plurality of blade parts directing the positive electrode 4 outer circumference inserted in the axial direction is provided through a separator 3. A needle positive electrode collector 5 is axially inserted to the clearance part of the collector 12. The collector 12 is provided in addition to the needle collector 5 to increase the contact area with the positive electrode body 4, whereby current collecting ability is improved, and a battery excellent in discharge characteristic at the time of a heavy load and having less voltage reduction can be easily manufactured without increasing the manufacturing process. |
