PURPOSE:To constitute an oxide superconducting lead which shows a favorable electric connection and a high reliability to connection even during heat shrinkage upon cooling and to obtain a protective mechanism which prevents a loss of an oxide superconductor upon its quench. CONSTITUTION:Elastic contactor bands 2 are interposed to connect an oxide superconductor 1 and a metal conductor, so that an overclamping force which acts by a difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the superconductor 1 and the metal upon cooling is relaxed to prevent breaks of the superconductor 1. Both end connected metals 3 of the oxide superconductor 1 are connected by a tension spring 4 so as to act as a current bypath when the superconductor 1 quenches. |
