PURPOSE:To prevent the breaking of a fine pitch terminal by covering a cover ray in such a manner that the exposed part of the temporary connecting terminal of a flexible distributing base is longer than the exposed part of the fine pitch terminal. CONSTITUTION:In a multiple terminal connecting structure in which fine pitch terminals 3, 5 are connected after a thin film display element 1 of a first part and a flexible distributing base 2 of a second part are temporarily fixed by temporary connecting terminals 4, 6, the cover lay 7 of the base 2 is formed in such a manner that the exposed parts of the terminals 4, 6 are longer than the exposed parts of the terminals 3, 5. Since the part fixed to the element 1 on both the lateral sides is longer than the central part, the bending stress is collected to the cover lay line 7a of the terminals 4, 6 at the time of bending and assembling the base 2. Thus, the bending stress collected to the cover lay line 7b of the terminals 3, 5 at the time of assembling can be avoided to prevent the breaking of the terminals 3, 5. |
