PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a lead-acid battery electrode plate excellent in productivity and reliability. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 2 is provided on the surface making contact with an active material of a paste type electrode plate 1, and the elastic body 2 is covered with a bag 3 consisting of a synthetic resin cloth. One surface of the bag 3 is ultrasonically fused to the other surface to divide the active material and the elastic body 2 to small parts 5. Since the ultrasonic fusion can be momentarily and certainly performed, productivity is improved. Further, since the fused part is never peeled during the use of a battery, and the fall of the active material is prevented by the bag and the elastic body, the battery life is enhanced. |
