1. Electrode pH-metric glass containing LiO2, Cs2O, Pr2O3, BaO and SiO2 in the amount of 49-50% mole, La2O3 in the amount of 3-6% mole, Nb2O5 in the amount of 3% mole and ZrO2 in the amount of 1-2% mole, characterised in that it contains 29-30% mole of LiO2, 2% mole of Cs2O, 1-2percent mole of Pr2O3, 6-7% mole of BaO and also 2-5% mole of GeO2 and 2-4% mole of CeO2.3. A method of producing electrode pH-metric glass whereby molten glass, prior to forming, is re-molten, heated and cooled characterised in that the homogenous mixture in the form of molten glass is subjected to two subsequent cycles of heating and cooling, where in the first cycle the molten glass is entered into the chamber of the furnace and held at the temperature of 1350-1420 degrees C and at the subatmospheric pressure of 0.1 Pa for 60 minutes, and further the molten glass is cooled to the temperature of 1000 degrees C, and in the second cycle, it is held at the temperature of 1450-1500 degrees C for 180 minutes and then cooled to the temperature of 1350-1400 degrees C for 180 minutes, and further it is subjected to forming in quartz pipes.
