A method of producing electrode pH-metric glass whereby molten glass, prior to forming, is re-molten, heated and cooled characterised in that the homogenous mixture in the form of molten glass is subjected to two subsequent cycles of heating and cooling, where in the first cycle the molten glass is entered into the chamber of the furnace and held at the temperature of 1350-1420 degrees C and at the subatmospheric pressure of 0.1 Pa for 60 minutes, and further the molten glass is cooled to the temperature of 1000 degrees C, and in the second cycle, it is held at the temperature of 1450-1500 degrees C for 180 minutes and then cooled to the temperature of 1350-1400 degrees C for 180 minutes, and further it is subjected to forming in quartz pipes.
