PURPOSE:To eliminate labor required for a user to retrieve a sentence to be re- translated by providing a re-translation control means which executes retrieval by a designated word retrieving means, and executes re-translation by instructing a translation executing means when the part of speech of a word is changed. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1 gives the instruction of the input of an original text and the change of the part of speech of some one word, and an original text. translation storage means 2 stores the original text inputted from the input means 1 and a translated result as corresponding them with each other. Besides, a display means 3 displays the original text and the translation stored in the original text. translation storage means 2 as corresponding them with each other, and displays plural parts of speech of one word, and the translation executing means 4 executes translation. Then, the designated word retrieving means 5 retrieves a sentence containing the corresponding word from the original text stored in the original text/ translation storage means 2 when the instruction to change the part of speech of one word is generated by the input means 1, and the re-translation control means 6 re-translates the sentence retrieved by the designated word retrieving means 5 by using the translation executing means 4. |
