PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a display element control capacity of a liquid crystal display device by displaying a display form of message reception order data and a display form of numerical message data onto the liquid crystal display device in a different display form. CONSTITUTION:The receiver is provided with a liquid crystal display device 12 and a central arithmetic operation element 11 including a drive display means displaying a numeral message information indication 111 in succession to a message reception order indication 110 onto the liquid crystal display device 12. The drive control means displays the numeral message information indication 111 and the message reception order indication 110 while their segment sizes are varied. Thus, the indication to distinguish both is not required and the display element control drive capability is effectively utilized. |
