<p>PURPOSE:To provide the image forming device constantly forming a loop of a fixed quantity between a transfer part and a fixing device with a simple constitution even when thickness of transfer material or state of moisture, etc., is varied and where turbulence in an unfixed image is not generated. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted to be provided with a control means controlling carrying speed of the transfer material of the fixing rolls 7 and 8 at a first speed which is slower than the carrying speed of the transfer material in a transfer part of an image bearing body 5 and a second speed which is faster than the first speed and a loop detection means detecting when the loop of the transfer material 4 formed between the transfer part of the image bearing body 5 and the fixing rolls 7 and 8 becomes higher than a specified height and changing over the control means to the second speed while the transfer material carrying speed of the fixing rolls 7 and 8 are controlled with the first speed which is slower than the carrying speed of the transfer material at the transfer part of the image bearing body 5, and detecting when the loop of the transfer material 4 is lower than the specified height and changing over the control means to the first speed.</p> |
