A connection pin (12) is rigidly fastened in a hermetically sealed manner to the metal component-protecting case (13) by means of an electrically insulating glass bead (9). A flexible inner skirt (7) for absorbing the expansions of the pin (12), made of a material suitable for being rigidly fastened to the glass, is interposed between the pin (12) and the glass bead (9). Another skirt (5, 8) is interposed between the bead (9) and the case (13). The two skirts are produced from a sheet by punching, grinding (lapping) and cutting-out. The case of the invention may be a power-supply or switching case. <IMAGE>
