Electrical heating appliance comprising a bodywork in which is located at least one heating element with electrical resistor connected to a supply cable (38) intended to be connected to the mains, characterised in that the bodywork is made up of a tubular length (1) of flattened transverse section, at the opposite ends of which are mounted closure flanges forming supports for the said heating element, the flanges delimiting, together with the tubular length (1), a volume formed of superimposed zones (23, 24, 25) in one of which (23) the heating element is housed, the other zones (24, 25) either being left unoccupied or receiving complementary equipment for the heating appliance, and in that each flange is covered by at least one cover (26 to 31) forming both the complementary element of the bodywork and a housing for members for controlling equipment of the appliance. <IMAGE>
