PURPOSE:To make the size small by providing a dielectric layer of a high dielectric constant between matching circuits at the input side and the output side and a dielectric board so as to reduce the length of a strip line of each matching circuit resulting in decreasing the area of the configuration. CONSTITUTION:An active element 2 and a strip line 4 whose impedance is matched with the active element 2 are provided onto a dielectric board 1. A high dielectric constant layer 3 whose dielectric constant is higher than that of the strip line 4 is provided at least between an input side matching circuit 5 and the dielectric board 1 or between the output side matching circuit 6 and the dielectric board 1 in the monolithic microwave device provided with the input side matching circuit 5 and the output side matching circuit 6. Thus, the high dielectric constant layer 3 is provided to the dielectric board 1 of the region on which the input side matching circuit 5 and the output side matching circuit 6 are to be formed to reduce the length of the strip line 4 by up to 79% in comparison with the case without provision of the high dielectric constant layer by setting the effective ratio dielectric constant on the surface of the dielectric board 1 for the layer 3. |
