PURPOSE:To prevent near end reflection by an end face of an optic fiber. CONSTITUTION:Light from an optic semiconductor element 1 is converged by a spherical lens 2, and is inputted into an optic fiber 6 through the intermediary of a transparent block member 3. The surface of the transparent block member 3 on the semiconductor element 1 side is inclined by an angle of 4 deg. with respect to the optical axis, so as to prevent near end reflection. The optic fiber side surface of the block member 3 is curved, the shapes of a fixing member and a cylindrical part 13 are set so that the center of curvature comes onto the center axis of a hole in a receptacle. |
