<p>PURPOSE:To reduce burden on fingers and hands and solve in-convenience due to a contact defect when input work is performed by obtaining input information by shielding an optical path by inserting the finger to plural recessed parts arranged in matrix shape on the surface of a board. CONSTITUTION:Plural recessed parts H are formed on the surface of the board in matrix shape, and optical paths G are formed so as to pass almost the center of each recessed part H. Light emitting elements L are arranged at one terminal part of the optical paths G, and light receiving elements D at the other terminal part of the optical paths G. The output of the light receiving elements D are introduced to an input circuit 2. When a finger is inserted into the recessed part Hij, light crossing the part is shielded, which generates a state where no light can be made incident on light receiving elements Di and Dj in row and columnar directions. Such state is supplied to an arithmetic circuit 3 via a signal from the input circuit 2, and the recessed part Hij can be specified from the position of the light receiving element to which incident light is shielded, and it is fetched as the input information, and also, it is displayed on a display 4 when needed.</p> |
