<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate connecting operation between integrated circuit elements and signal lines, to decrease the intersections of counter electrode conductors and modulation signal conductors, to reduce the load capacity of scanning signal conductors, to make the deformation of a scanning signal waveform small, and to obtain a uniform image over the entire surface of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:Pixel electrodes 5 and thin film transistors (TFT) 4 which supply image signals to the picture element electrodes 5 are provided in matrix at the respective intersections of the image signal conductors 12 and scanning signal conductors 13; and modulation signal conductors 14 which are coupled with the picture element electrodes 5 through capacitances so as to supply modulation signals to the pixel electrodes 5 are provided and counter electrodes 11 which apply voltages to a liquid crystal material are provided opposite the pixel electrodes 5, thus constituting the liquid crystal display device. A modulation signal supply circuit which supplies the modulation signals to the modulation signal conductors 14 and a scanning signal supply circuit which supplies scanning signals to the scanning signal conductors 13 are provided in the same integrated circuit element.</p> |
