<p>PURPOSE:To improve the permiation of insulating solution to the gap of winding wire so as to prevent the occurrence of succeeding insulation failure due to corona discharge by providing openings on a collar section exposing from the iron-core lamination direction of bobbin and the end face in iron-core lamination direction. CONSTITUTION:A ballast 10 in which the bobbin 18 is wound by a winding wire 40 and which is inserted into an iron core is provided with a collar section 50 on the bobbin 18 in the winding circumferential direction of the wire 40. The openings 52 and 58 are prepared on the section 50 exposing from the iron- core lamination direction and the end faces 54 and 56 in the iron-core lamination direction. Thus, the permiation of insulating solution to the gap of winding wire is improved, thereby preventing the occurrence of succeeding insulation failure due to corona discharge.</p> |
