<p>PURPOSE:To provide a small and light-weight ignition coil device for internal combustion engine with good mounting property by making the ignition coil device to be smaller entirely. CONSTITUTION:An ignition coil device is provided with a central core and a peripheral core surrounding the central core that are arranged to form a closed magnetic circuit, a primary coil wound on the outer periphery of the central core, and a secondary coil wound separately on the outer periphery of the primary coil. A recessed section 6b is formed in such a way that the part facing the low-voltage side of the secondary coil of an outer peripheral core 6 will be close to the secondary coil 5. Since the core mold has been wound on the section 6b in order to prevent the case cracks, the core mold may not dislocate even though the case covering is applied on the outer peripheral core. Furthermore, the core mold is hardly projected from the outer surface of the outer peripheral core because it is wound on the depressed part of the section 6b.</p> |
