<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the toner having excellent vinyl chloride plasticizer migration resistance without impairing toner characteristics, such as fixability, non-offset property and flow property, by incorporating a plasticizer into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The plasticizer is incorporated into the electrophotographic toner contg. at least a binder resin and coloring agents. Namely, the plasticizer is incorporated into the toner, by which the difference in the concn. of the plasticizer between both is decreased. The migration of the plasticizer is, therefore, prevented and the excellent vinyl chloride plasticizer migration resistance is obtd. The phenomenon that the plasticizer migrates is particularly significant when the solubility parameters of the used plasticizer and the binder resin used for the toner are approximate. Then, the effect is exhibited to the max. possible extent by incorporating the plasticizer into the toner contg. the resin having such solubility parameter as the binder.</p> |
