<p>PURPOSE:To execute a movement compensating processing by simple constitu tion. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup element 42 adds vertical or horizontal pixel signals in a macro block for detecting movement and outputs an added result by using a charge modulation device(CMD) as each picture element and adding pixel signals in an image pickup element. A vertical added result is stored in a vertical sum signal memory 56 in a moving vector detection circuit 48 and a horizontal added result is stored in a horizontal sum signal memory 52. The circuit 48 consisting of difference circuits 60, 58, adders 64, 62 and minimum value detecting circuits 68, 66 finds out vertical (or horizontal) correlation between the signals of a current frame stored in the memories 56, 52 and the signals of the preceding frame stored in the memories 54, 50 by using the sum of picture element values horizontally (or vertically) arranged in the macro block and detects a monitor vector.</p> |
