<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device and a method for inspecting the authenticity and value of each coin by inductive and photoelectronical means. CONSTITUTION: A coin 6 is stored during an inspection cycle, centered and rotated by 360 deg. and the diameter, engraved pattern and material of the coin 6 are detected and evaluated. In this case, the diameter of the coin 6 is detected and inspected by the rotational angles of two discs 3, 4 to be rotated in mutually opposite directions. The device for detecting and inspecting each coin is provided with means 3, 4 for accurately centering the coin and preventing the oscillation of the coin from occurring and an inducer 16 to be used for inducing inspection.</p> |
