PURPOSE:To assure evasion of a forgotten document with a simple constitution by informing an operator of the forgotten document after a copying process is finished before the operator leaves the machine regardless of whether or not an automatic document feeder is loaded or not. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming device provided with a standby mode where the copying process can be carried out and a preheating mode where the copying process is inhibited to save energy, a document detection sensor detecting the document placed on a contact glass, a control part 301 inhibiting setting of the preheating mode when the document is detected by the document detection sensor, and an operation display part 201 informing the state of inhibition of the preheating mode by the control part 301 with a display or an alarm. |
