PURPOSE:To provide a picture processor including an address generator generating a necessary address for the access of picture data for shortening an address operation time for the preparation of a picture and for simplifying a picture processing software. CONSTITUTION:This picture processor is provided with a CPU 1, an address bus 2 and a data bus 3 connected with the CPU 1, an address generation mechanism 10 including an address generator 5 converting the data inputted from the CPU 1 via the address bus 2 into an address and outputting to the address bus 2 and a storage device 15. In the address generation mechanism 10, an address decoder 11 and a buffer 12 connected with the address bus 2 are included. The address decoder 11 selects either one of the addresses of the CPU 1 or the address generator 5 and outputs it to a buffer 12. |
