PURPOSE:To appropriately control an interval obtained until one operation of a device is stopped after detecting no-toner regardless of the fluctuation of the length or the size of an image by integrating a latent image after detecting that toner attains a specified remaining quantity. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a toner supply means 50 which supplies the toner stored in a toner storing means 62 to a developing device 40, a detecting means which detects the length or the area of at least one of the latent image, an original and a paper, a detecting means 63 which detects that the toner stored in the means 62 attains the specified remaining quantity, an integrating means which integrates the length or the area detected by the detecting means after the means 63 detects that the toner attains the specified remaining quantity, and an image forming inhibiting means which inhibits next image forming when the integrated value integrated by the integrating means attains a specified value. Therefore, when the toner attains the specified remaining quantity, the length or the area of the latent image after that is integrated, and when the integrated value attains the specified value, the next image forming is inhibited. |
