PURPOSE:To efficiently cool two heated parts of the optical device of a copying machine to which an automatic document feeder is fitted, that is, the original reading part of the lower part of a document placing plate and the document carrying/reading part of the lower part of the automatic document feeder. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan 1 is disposed on a main body frame at a position between the document reading part and the document carrying/reading part, wind-direction plates 13, 14 are attached to both side surfaces of the cooling fan 1, and simultaneously, a changeover lever 21 is attached to a document reading unit 2. When the document reading unit 2 and the wind-direction plates 13, 14 pass each other, the changeover lever 21 is brought into contact with the wind-direction plates 13, 14. |
