PURPOSE:To provide a memory inspecting device for improving system working ratio. CONSTITUTION:A memory inspecting device is provided with a mean which sequentially checks whether an area is usable or not for each area, starting with a top area, within a memory 13, a deciding means which decides whether the amount of usable are from the tap area to the unusable area found in the memory 13 exceeds the specified amount or not, which is required for system's proper operation, a means to make the system into operable state when the amount of usable area is found more than the specified amount and a means to make the system into unoperable state when the amount of usable area is found less than the specified amount. |
