<p>PURPOSE:To improve thermal deformation resistance, thermal impact resistance and non-attacking property to an opposite roll and to improve dimensional accuracy by constituting a separating lug for a copying machine with a specific material. CONSTITUTION:The separating lug for the copying machine consists of 90 to 30wt.% thermotropic liquid crystal polymer (a) and 10 to 70wt.% spheroidal glassy carbon (b) featured by having glassy gloss on the fracture surfaces of its particles. The loss on the weight of the glassy carbon when the glassy carbon is held for 30 minutes at 350 deg.C in air is 5wt.% Further, the thermotropic liquid crystal polymer is fully arom. polyester and is a (co)polymer contg. at least the monomer expressed by formula. The wear resistance is insufficient when the amt. of the spheroidal glassy carbon to be added is <=10% and the additional improvement in the wear resistance is not expected and the strength of the resulted molding is reduced even when the glassy carbon is added with the amt. exceeding 70wt.%.</p> |
