The automatic goods dispenser contains a drum-shaped goods magazine (WM) with goods cells (WZ) along a helical line on its surface. The magazine can rotate about a fixed vertical threaded spindle (GS) and is thus adjustable in height by a drive motor (MO) to bring each cell into a defined delivery position (AP). An ejector delivers the items radially outwards when in the delivery position. An electronic controller (EC) for the motor and ejector has associated control organs. The spindle is a column mounted in a frame (ST) only at its foot. The magazine is suspended from the spindle only at its upper end via a single spindle nut (SM). USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement is improved to be simpler and cheaper to assemble.
