PURPOSE:To obtain a display method recognized easily by the user by decomposing an electronic mail address depending on each attribute and utilizing a display processing routine. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of an address notation character string and information up to which level its depending organization is to be indicated from an electronic mail system 3, an address indication processing section 2 obtains a character string for each attribute from the address notation character string, discriminates whether or not its attribute indicates the organization level to be indicated when the attributes relates the depending organization and stores the character to an attribute relevant table 4 as the dependent organization character string when the character is to be displayed. Moreover, when the attribute relates to an element of PN, the character string is stored as a PN character string. The stored character string is composed in order finally to generate the display character string. Thus, the address is decoded and a Japanese word name used normally is composed from each table, then the electronic mail document is communicated by the organization name and the person name. |
