PURPOSE:To compactly provide a stereo-microscope with a range-finding means for automatically focusing. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 11 is arranged in front of a right-and-left binocular enlarging optical system 20, and a down-projection lighting means 30 for projecting light on a subject W through the objective lens 11 is provided, and also a range-finding means 40 by which the luminous flux of spectra dispersed by respective half-mirrors 41 that have been interposed in the middle of the right-and-left binocular enlarging optical system 20 is imaged on respective detection modules 44 for outputting a range-finding signal based on the relative position of the right-and-left focused images is provided, so that a focusing mechanism is driven on the basis of the signal of the range- finding means 40. |
