PURPOSE:To dispense with a terminal for connecting an external terminal to a modular insert, reduce the number of part items, and reduce man-hours for assembling. CONSTITUTION:A modular insert 40 having a plug connecting part 41 for electrically connecting a modular plug is received in a case 1. The modular insert 40 has a terminal piece 45 for connecting an external cable to a contact spring provided on the plug connecting part 41. A chain lock piece 46 is cut and raised on the terminal piece 45. The chain lock piece 46 is integrally connected to the terminal piece 45 on the top end side of the terminal piece 45 and inclined to extend the distance with the terminal piece toward the base part side of the terminal piece 45. The chain lock piece 46 has a spring force in the direction of the top end part separating from the terminal piece 45. The terminal piece 45 is inserted to a terminal receiving chamber 15a provided on a base 10, and a cable guided from the outside is nipped between the inner circumferential surface of the terminal receiving chamber 15a and the chain lock piece 46. The case 1 has a mounting hole 3 through which a mounting screw is inserted in the center part.
