A method of stabilizing an anhydrous curing agent for epoxy resins which is in the form of a liquid mixture of hexahydrophthalic anhydride with three isomers of cis-Δ<1>, cis-Δ<3>, cis-Δ<4>-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride characterised in that 5-30 parts by weight of the product of the maleanization of unsaturated fatty acids with the iodine number equal to 70-110 or their esters with ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol or polyoxypropylene glycol are added to 100 parts by weight of the curing agent.
