The subject of the present invention is a system for automatic regulation of the filling of basins, with leakage detection. It consists of the combination of firstly a level probe (2) having a single set-point and detecting merely the maximum level, next of an electronic box (3) connected to the said probe including in particular a manual/automatic switch and an indicator light, possibly combined with an alarm, signalling a leakage from the basin (1) or a filling fault and, lastly, of a filling electrovalve (5) supplied at very low voltage and actuated periodically by virtue of a programmer incorporated in the electronic box (3). It may be suitable for any type of basin but is essentially intended for swimming pools of any size and in the first instance for private swimming pools. <IMAGE>
