The invention makes it possible to repair any end of a tube (8) fixed to a support (7). It consists in placing a sleeve (10A) around the end of the tube (8) to be repaired, in making the calibrated rod (14) of a ram (punch) (10B) penetrate into the sleeve (10A) and strike the head (17) of the ram (10B) in order to make the calibrated rod (14) penetrate into the tube (8) to be repaired. The use of such a tool is particularly suitable for repairing the male abutting ends of quick-connect/disconnect fluid couplings used in sealed enclosures, in the scope of the manipulation of toxic or radioactive products and equipment by means of a remote-manipulation (handling) device. <IMAGE>
