The clamp contact (1) is made of electrically conductive material with plate-shaped sections. These sections are slot connected via a foldable region. Contact slits (8) are provided for connection to electric leads. When folded, the contact elements form a V-shape. The slits of the individual elements are formed near the crease (10) when the element is folded. Thus, the individual elements can be arranged together in any desired number to form a multiple contact (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for branch connections in telecommunications and data processing systems. Technically simple to manufacture. Enables any number of elements to be connected easily.
