The rotor is mounted in a housing with an annular spacing. At one rotor end is fitted a flexible electric connector, whose end is coupled to the housing inside. The connector contains a strip conductor of beryllium-copper alloy, and an insulating cover layer for the conductor. Pref. the alloy contains beryllium of 1.8 to 2.1% wt. In the housing may be fitted an intermediate plate and a number of guide rollers in the latter. The rotor may be rotatable in both directions, and signals are transmitted between it and the housing.
