The press is for the mfr. of metal frames for doors, windows etc. Profiled bars are connected at right angles via a bevel joint, and positively connected via an angled corner section. The section has apertures, and tongues projecting from the profiled bars, are pressed into the apertures. The press has a multi-sectional press head (11), and a main clamping body (12), to carry a first blade-like press tool (4). The main clamping body carries an additional clamping body (14) for another blade-like press tool (17). This clamping body is adjustable and lockable.
