The electrical connecting device proposed has a circuit board (29) with an associated contact strip (14) in which flat plugs (16) are embedded. These flat plugs have connecting lugs (35) which are bonded with the circuit board (29). In order to improve the electromagnetic compatibility of the control device, a metal earthing plate (31) is embedded in the contact strip, the earthing plate having a multiplicity of apertures (32, 33) through which the flat plugs project. The earthing plate also has, at its edges, leaf-spring elements (41) which project out from the contact strip (14) and rest against the inside (11) of the housing (10). These leaf-spring elements provide reliable bonding and ensure that the plugs are well screened over a large area.
