Connection socket system for satellite dish receivers - has diode arrangement built into socket for controlling DC supply direction
摘要
A satellite dish receiver for use by either individuals or commercial concerns has a connection with a pair of sockets (1, 2). Located between the TV (SAT) connector (3) and the main cable (4) are diodes (57) with a common connecting point (8). The second socket has a similar arrangement. Separate points are provided (9) for the radio signal output. In one form, a satellite receiver (13) is coupled via the sockets to the dish converter (12). The diodes ensure that d.c. supply direction is only one way. ADVANTAGE - Can be installed in family, i.e. single, or community arrangements without capacitative decoupling of connection resistances at antenna or through passage socket being necessary for d.c. supply.
